Deschutes Brew Pub in the Pearl.. a wishlist

I'm excited that Deschutes will be opening a brew pub in Portland's Pearl District. I just hope they don't ruin it by making it a pretentious, high-priced place. See, right now there are two brew pubs in the Pearl District (I don't count Henry's, which is good for other reasons, but not a brew pub): Rogue and BridgePort. While Rogue has a cool brew-pub atmosphere, their beers are expensive and the happy hour food hasn't been that great in my limited experience. I've also had slow service there almost every time I've gone. BridgePort, on the other hand, discarded their own souls when they renovated, leaving an atmosphere that feels more like a dance club than a brew pub. They do, however, have good beer prices (very cheap during happy hour). So, all I ask from Deschutes is that they combine the best of both worlds. Let's have a brew pub that feels like a brew pub, even if it is in the heart of the Pearl District. But let's also have brew-pub prices and some good, classic pub food. Please!
