Amongst popular drinking culture, gin has surely fallen behind vodka in popularity. However, in the same sense that many people prefer a nice, hoppy microbrew to a domestic American lager, the enlightened drinkers of our time still know that gin is the superior spirit to vodka. I won't rant (now anyway) on why gin is better.. either you know or you don't.
